                                        apple's claims for violation of patents starts when Google introduced the android

operating system because it has very much close similarities to the apple's revolutionary OS that introduced

in 2007 that is ios but the patent wars heated up when Samsung introduced galaxy smartphones

    galaxy s and iPhone 4s                                           

            due to the increasing popularity of galaxy phones particularly galaxy s and galaxy s2 first in the series

is galaxy s which sold almost 30 million  up to date with increasing popularity of galaxy  phones apple

becomes restless and varies cases are files against different parts of the world but the real battle starts when

Samsung introduced galaxy s2 suddenly it gains popularity with record breaking sales for Samsung

but it has close similarities to apple's iPhone 4s this made apple to fight against the blatant copying because

from only the difference in screen size and home button we can spot any  difference  between iPhone 4s and s2

                apple cant tolerate this so various patent infringement  cases are filed against different parts of the

world against Samsung . Samsung also counter suit apple against copying its 3G networking standards,email

transmission methodology, switching between photo and gallery modes and background music playback

functionality.
          

                                                 apples claims got positive response when Samsung released another 

product galaxy tab which also looks like blatant copy of apples ipad tablet.apple filed cases against copying 

of ipad also in this they won in some countries like in Australia,united states

in different countries across the globe. but with increasing popularity of galaxy S2 apple becomes relentless

to ban these products because they saying that their innovations are copied by Samsung. because in the

reviews S2 gets better reviews than 4S.
                         
                                              as a result of apples continuous fight united states court   rewarded apple with

$1 billion Samsung fine. this is a major set back to Samsung and they get embarrassed  in the world for

copying.but this is not over Samsung says they will go for appeal
